Construction work is now underway after local VIPs and representatives from developer, Lovell Homes, attended site to officially ‘break the ground’.

Lovell’s brand new development is situated in the picturesque Worcestershire village of Clifton upon Teme. Overlooking the Teme valley, this beautiful rural location provides the perfect setting for those looking to enjoy life in a countryside village.

This rural development is due to launch in summer 2018, with the first homes expected to be ready for purchasers to move in the autumn.

The Meadows situated off Pound Lane will provide an assortment of two, three, four and five bedroom homes

In support of the local community Lovell will be contributing nearly £500,000 towards transport recreation and education.

Clifton upon Teme Primary Head teacher Cathryn Throup, who helped to formally cut the first sod, said: “Clifton upon Teme is a delightful village. We look forward to welcoming new families into the community, and to our school, which has proudly served the children of Clifton since 1844.”

Lovell Regional Sales Director Trish Foster said: “This is an exciting time for us to start work on our development in Clifton. The village is very beautiful and is surrounded by rolling countryside with a peaceful and friendly community and our homes will reflect this.

“The local village hall holds regular events such as gigs, fitness classes and charity fundraisers. The village also features a church, a nursery, a primary school and two pubs which serve food.”

Located in the heart of the Teme Valley, Clifton upon Teme is 12 miles west of the historic city of Worcester. There are many stunning places nearby to explore, including the Brockhampton Estate, Whitbourne Hall and Ralph Court Gardens.

Families can marvel at the cultural heritage, dramatic hills and ancient woodlands of the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is within reach of Clifton upon Teme. Another great family day out nearby is West Midlands Safari Park.
