THERE’S A NEW SIDE TO LOVELL’S MILES PLATTING JOURNEY
24 May 2017
LOVELL has launched ‘early bird’ plots in the latest phase of homes at Platting Village.
Enjoying an enviable location adjacent to the Rochdale Canal, the homes at Lockside – Lovell’s third development within the new urban village – offer something for everyone, with two, three and four-bedroom homes overlooking The Green, the central park in Miles Platting.
Homebuyers hoping to be a part of the new community can now make an ‘early bird’ reservation on selected plots at Lockside, which will give them the first opportunity to reserve when the home is released for sale. The first residents are expected to be enjoying living in their new homes in the autumn.
Clare Noakes, sales director for Lovell in the North West, said: “We’re proud of the contribution Lovell is making to transform this part of East Manchester into a vibrant new community. Out latest development, Lockside, will offer great new homes in a sought-after waterside and village green location.”
The launch of Lockside is part of the exciting plan to build 1,000 homes to the east of Manchester city centre at Platting Village. It follows on from the success of Lovell’s other developments here; Faraday Green, which is sold out, as well as Bramah Place, where the second phase of 35 homes is now underway.
The area has been extremely popular with first time buyers who want to invest in their own property instead of renting, plus families looking to move up the property ladder.
Homebuyers will not only have a great new place to call home, they will be within easy reach of a host of local amenities including schools, Miles Platting and Ancoats’ Sure Start Children’s Centre, Victoria Mill and the sports facilities at Eastlands.
Clare Noakes added: “Platting Village is proving to be an increasingly popular address in an up and coming area of Manchester. It offers all the attributes of a village, but is within easy reach of all the city centre has to offer too.”
Early bird reservations for Lockside are being taken at Lovell’s sales and marketing suite office at Bramah Place, on Garforth Avenue.
