PLATTING VILLAGE continues to be a sought-after address among eager home buyers keen to be a part of this exciting new urban village.

Lovell released the first wave of plots for early bird reservations at its third development within the new village, Lockside, and like those before it, they were snapped up by home buyers who can see the huge potential of the homes and location.

Lockside enjoys an enviable setting adjacent to the Rochdale Canal, and the homes there offer something for everyone, with two, three and four-bedroom homes overlooking The Green, the central park in Miles Platting.

More homes at Lockside will be released later this year.

Clare Noakes, sales director for Lovell in the North West, said: “The regeneration of Platting Village is a huge success story and we’re proud of the contribution Lovell is making to transform this part of East Manchester into a vibrant new community.

“There is a great deal of excitement about the new urban village being created. So every time properties are released, we have a flurry of activity from buyers who have been waiting for the opportunity. As well as Lockside, we are already receiving interest in the next phase – Weavers Park – coming in 2018.”

The launch of Lockside is part of the exciting plan to build 1,000 homes to the east of Manchester city centre at Platting Village. It follows on from the success of Lovell’s other developments here; Faraday Green, which is sold out, as well as Bramah Place, where the second phase of 35 homes is now underway.

The area has been extremely popular with first time buyers who want to invest in their own property instead of renting, plus families looking to move up the property ladder.

Homebuyers will not only have a great new place to call home, they will be within easy reach of a host of local amenities including schools, Miles Platting and Ancoats’ Sure Start Children’s Centre, Victoria Mill and the sports facilities at Eastlands.

Home buyers interested in the next release of homes at Lockside, or to register interest in Weaver Park, should visit the Lovell sales and marketing suite at Bramah Place, on Garforth Avenue. Alternatively, call 0161 636 0578.
