As the nights start to draw in and people contemplate turning the heating back on, Lovell home owners can benefit from the lower costs associated with heating a new build home.

Lovell installs energy efficient insulation in all its properties, including double glazing, loft, floor and wall insulation, which reduces the heat lost and ultimately reduces the amount spent on fuel bills.

In addition, the modern high efficiency boilers installed convert over 90% of their fuel into heat in comparison to traditional heaters, which only convert 78%.

Dark nights mean more lighting and with Lovell only installing energy saving lightbulbs in their properties, each bulb uses around 80% less electricity and lasts up to eight times longer.

Lovell has a number of new build developments across the North West, including The Laureates in Cockermouth, a collection of 217 new homes set amongst extensive landscaping and boasting outstanding views of the Lake District. Its selection of three, four and five bed luxury homes all enjoy energy efficient insulation.

All Lovell’s developments also benefit from being eligible for Help to Buy: Equity Loan, with these homes only requiring a 5% deposit, as the Government will provide up to 20% of the value of the property in an equity loan, allowing buyers to access mortgages of up to 75% of loan to value. This scheme is open to first and second time buyers, eligible on properties with a value up to £600,000.
