Leading housebuilder Lovell has received planning permission to build 48 new homes in the village of Clifton-upon-Teme.
The Meadows, will provide an assortment of two, three, four and five bedroom homes which will be built on Blue Shot Meadow, just off Pound Lane.
A large area of the site will be returned as meadow land, where future homebuyers will be able to enjoy the delights of countryside living right on their door step.
As part of the planning agreement, Lovell will be contributing nearly £500,000 - £32,340 towards public transport, £220,800 towards recreation, £42,999 towards transport strategy and £176,365 towards education, in order to support the local community of Clifton-upon-Teme. Lovell will also provide much needed affordable housing 19 of the homes will be handed over to affordable housing association Festival Housing.
Construction work will commence on site at The Meadows in January 2018, and the first homes will be ready to move into by Summer 2018.
