FIRST PHASE OF NEW HOMES RELEASED AT VICTORIA PLACE

12 September 2016

THE long-awaiting first release of homes at Lovell’s brand new Victoria Place development in Birkenhead is now available.

The Church Road development in Prenton features 50 homes and is set to appeal to first time buyers, couples and families thanks to a wide choice of two and three-bedroom homes as well as two four-bedroom properties.

The first phase, which features two and three bedroom homes and prices from £113,995, is now on sale from the Clive Watkin Partnership in Prenton and from Entwistle Green in Prenton.

Toby Bennett, of Clive Watkin Partnership, said: “There is a real appetite locally for homes priced from £100,000 up to £200,000 particularly among first and second time movers. Victoria Place is perfectly positioned to appeal to first time buyers who may have rented for several years and, with the help of the Bank of Mum and Dad and the added incentive of Help to Buy, are now in a position to buy their first home.

“The location itself will be popular with local people and those who have rented in Liverpool city centre, seeking a move to the Wirral to put down some roots, start a family and be close to the excellent local schools.”

Sam Williams, field sales manager for Lovell, said: “We know that Victoria Place will be extremely popular as it follows on from our successful Fountain Court, which is now a thriving new community.

“We’re confident that the mix of homes will mean that there is something for everyone. Our lowest priced two-bedroom homes, priced at £113,995, could be secured for as little as £86,196 with the support of Help to Buy, making them extremely affordable for first time buyers who are eager to get that vital first step onto the property ladder.”

The support available through the government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme, means buyers can secure their own brand new home with just a 5% deposit. Customers will own 100% of their new home but only need to pay a 5% down payment and secure a 75% mortgage, thanks to a government equity loan of 20%, which is interest free for the first five years.

Victoria Place offers excellent commuter links to Liverpool for those working in the city centre and is situated within easy reach of the Birkenhead tunnel.

There is a selection of local shops, primary schools and secondary schools, all within walking distance. The town has a superb range of leisure facilities including a Vue cinema, Europa swimming pool and Mersey Park.

Three show homes and a marketing suite are due to open at the Church Road development in early 2017, and homebuyers are urged to get in touch now to take advantage of pre-show home prices and to enjoy the benefits of buying off plan.

Budding home buyers can view floor plans and be among the very first to reserve their home by visiting the Clive Watkin Partnership in Prenton or Entwistle Green estate agents in Prenton. For more information, call the sales hotline on 0151 515 6398 or visit www.lovellnewhomes.co.uk.
