Final countdown under way at best-selling Bristol housing development
Bristol’s status as a property hotspot has been highlighted as developer Lovell Homes celebrates the incredible success of its Repton Grange development in Brentry.
Ninety per cent of homes at the north Bristol development – the entire number of properties which have been released so far – have now sold.
Demand has been so intense that some buyers camped overnight to be first in line and many homes were snapped up within minutes of being released.
Lovell regional sales manager Julie Bowen says: “The exceptional response to Repton Grange has made it one of our fastest-selling developments, with homes reserved virtually the moment they become available. This clearly demonstrates both the demand for high-quality new build homes in Bristol and the city’s undoubted appeal as a great place to live.
“Buyers also tell us that what they particularly like about Repton Grange is the relatively small size of the development and the fact that it’s not a large anonymous new-build scheme with identikit properties. Our homes stand out thanks to a high-quality design and high-specification fixtures and fittings. Purchasers also love the location and setting with plenty of green space and parkland nearby.” Perfectly located for commuting across the West Country, Repton Grange is just three miles from Junction 17 of the M5 – right by the Cribbs Causeway retail park.
The Government’s Help to Buy: Equity Loan* scheme has undoubtedly boosted sales at Repton Grange with around three-quarters of buyers opting to use the scheme which enables purchasers to access a 20 per cent equity loan from the Government and secure their property with a five per cent deposit.
Own an historic home with contemporary style
Lovell now has just six homes left for sale at the development which are set to be released later this summer. They include four much-anticipated individually designed exclusive apartments at Phoenix House, an historic building dating from around 1900 which formed part of the original Brentry Hospital site. Beautifully restored and converted, these uniquely luxurious apartments celebrate their historic roots but also offer modern and contemporary room layouts.
